hosting site in the Chicago area. A copy of the database is created every night
and is retained for 3 weeks. Data is password protected.
How does MAPPware (ASP) handle hardware / software problems?
Our technical staff will address hardware / software problems as soon as they
are identified. If there is a serious problem, users will be notified promptly via
email with an expected time for resolution. Software bugs are fixed as quickly as possible.
Software upgrades, i.e. new functionality, new reports, are installed every few months.
These upgrades are automatically available to MAPPware users without the need to upgrade
your workstation.
Who owns the data?
The customer owns their data.
How can I get the data out if I choose to select a new ASP two years from now?
The customer can print reports of their data at any time. Customer data can also
be extracted to flat files for porting to another database. This service is available
through Rosebud Software Systems, Ltd. at
support@rosrebudsoftware.com or at 773.774.1087.
Is there special software needed to execute reports?
Crystal Reports is used as the report writer. To view reports you have to install the
"Crystal Report Viewer". To install Crystal Report Viewer, click on a report and a new window
will appear guiding you in installing the viewer. Once the viewer is installed, you will not be
prompted again. If you still have problems, please contact a consultant at
support@rosrebudsoftware.com or at 773.774.1087.
Who controls the work plan?
The work plan is managed by your Team Manager.
Why are the data entered in MAPPware anonymous?
Data is anonymous to encourage an open discussion and to insure that the input
from all the members of the planning team are equally considered.
If I choose not to renew my subscription, what happens to my data?
Customers who do not renew their subscription will lose access to the data at the renewal date.
It is strongly recommended that customers save their reports before the subscription ends. Data
is not actually purged from the database until a customer has been inactive for 12 months. During
that time, customers can request a flat file extract of the data by contacting Rosebud Software
Services, Ltd. at support@rosebudsoftware.com or at 773.774.1087.
Why am I not able to log into the system?
To log in the system you need a correct and valid ID and password. Passwords are case sensitive.
Be sure that you are correctly typing your ID and password. If you still have problems logging in,
please contact your Team Manager.
Is the Forum anonymous?
Yes, the Forum is anonymous.
The data I entered have disappeared?
Data are saved in the system only when the "save" or "save and close" buttons are pressed. Please,
remember to click "save" or "save and close" before exiting any windows.
Why are some of the reports blank?
Reports might be blank for the following reasons:
No data were inputted
The Team Manager has not consolidated the team's input
The Team Manager didn't activate the report
In the "team input" reports what is the meaning of the number of responses? Is a higher number of responses
better than a lower number?
This part of the report is meant to help the planning team assess the level of participation in the process.
It also assists the Team Manager in determining when to turn off the task in the workplan.
